haolam asher natan lanoo torat 'emet
the universe who gave us the Torah of truth,
v'khaiyay olam nata b'tokhaynoo.
And life everlasting planted in our midst.

Blessed are you, Lord giver of the Torah.
V'zo't hatorah asher sam moshe leefnay
This(is) the Torah which placed Moses before
b'nay yeesra'eyl al pee adonai
the children of Israel, at the command of the Lord
b'yad mosheh.
